BILL VIOLA ÒGoing Forth By DayÓ (2002)
Berlin, Guggenheim, permanent collection. A series of five
modern frescos interpretations photographed in High Definition using large
scale sets, both exterior and on stage with hundreds of extras, stunt people,
and special effects creating an epic articulation of the passage of natureÕs
cycles and reflections on the flow of birth and regeneration. Opened NYC
Guggenheim, September 20, 2002.
